Baby calves can take a lot of cold if they have someplace dry to lie down and colostrum in their belly. A good cow that gets up and cleans them off, getting them warm and dry goes a long way. . If we get a calf that is chilled but still vigorous we will give 1/2 a feeding of colostrum and let him get around to rooting himself. . If they are to cold get those babies warmed up. Internal temp needs to be 101.5. A warm box, truck floor, or heater goes a long ways. I love using Nursemate for a little
